Do not use this site for an emergency
FaunaNest cannot diagnose a bite, sting, rash, poisoning, illness, or dangerous-animal exposure. If someone has severe symptoms, breathing difficulty, suspected poisoning, or immediate danger, use the appropriate emergency or poison-control resources where you are.
Identification is uncertain
Images and visible signs may be incomplete or misleading. Similar species can require specimen examination, location data, or a qualified identifier. Do not handle an unknown animal or disturb a nest solely to improve an online identification.
Pesticides and treatments
FaunaNest does not authorize chemical use. Follow the registered product label and applicable local law. Do not mix products, improvise a use, or assume instructions from another country apply locally.
Wildlife and conservation
Capture, exclusion, relocation, rehabilitation, and removal rules vary. Contact the relevant wildlife agency or qualified local professional before acting on protected, injured, trapped, or potentially rabid wildlife.
