Fact-Checking Process

Current limitation

FaunaNest does not currently identify a verified fact checker or qualified reviewer for the full inherited article collection. A generic editorial-team name or an AI system is not presented as an expert credential.

When a label may appear

A fact-check or expert-review label may appear only when a real named person:

1. opens the cited sources;
2. checks that major claims match the evidence and stated geography;
3. confirms scientific names, units, dates, and uncertainty;
4. checks relevant image identification and licensing;
5. reviews conflicts and safety boundaries; and
6. records the review scope, date, findings, and approval.

High-risk subjects require qualifications relevant to the claim. Automated checks can identify missing fields and regressions, but they cannot determine whether a biological or medical claim is true.
