Copyright and Takedown Policy

A preserve-first process for copyright and licensing concerns.

What to report

Report copied text, close paraphrasing, missing attribution, incorrect license claims, misidentified creators, incompatible use terms, or material you are authorized to represent.

Use contact and choose “Copyright or licensing.” Include the FaunaNest URL, material at issue, original rights record, your relationship to the work, requested resolution, and a reply address.

Response process

A credible rights concern receives an immediate review hold. The original repository record is preserved for investigation. FaunaNest then checks provenance, license terms, attribution, modification rights, and any applicable permission.

Removal, correction, attribution, replacement, or restoration follows the evidence and applicable law. No removed page is redirected to an unrelated destination.

This baseline process is not a jurisdiction-specific statutory notice. A real designated agent or legal contact may be added only after verification.
