Authors and Reviewers

FaunaNest does not create fictional expert biographies or unsupported review claims.

Profile requirements

A future profile may display only a real person’s:

  • name and actual editorial or review role;
  • relevant, verifiable qualifications and experience;
  • stated areas of coverage;
  • approved professional links;
  • authored or reviewed pages; and
  • conflict-of-interest disclosure.

The profile must describe what the person reviewed. A veterinarian, entomologist, wildlife biologist, medical professional, or pest-management professional is not claimed unless both the credential and participation are verified.

Team bylines

A collective byline may be used only when the page explains who belongs to the team, who accepts responsibility, and what process was completed. A team name is an accountability mechanism, not an expert credential.

Real author biographies and reviewer recruitment require real participants. Missing identities are not filled with fictional placeholders.

Current author

  • John Shim — owner-supplied named author for legacy FaunaNest articles. No professional or expert credentials are claimed.
